With so much variation in conditions the vehicles are De tuned to cope with the worst

environments, temperatures, altitudes, poor fuel quality etc.

As we do not suffer from any of the above in the UK it is perfectly safe and within the

tolerances of the engine etc to re tune vehicles.

Also many are not aware that some vehicles may have upto 4 variants for example

110hp 130hp 150hp 170hp, but all using the same engine and internals, these figures

are all the result of de tuning and will all end up with same tuned figure!

Pride and Performance do not install generic remaps, all of our files are custom tuned

to your vehicle.

Our files are provided by leaders of their field tuning vehicles since 1998. 

All the vehicles we remap have already undergone many hours of development and been tuned via their state of the art dynos.

This enables your cars ECU read to be compared to the previous dyno and the 

parameters adjusted accordingly to provide the same end result.

Pride and Performance are fully insured with comprehensive traders policy and public
liability insurance up to 5 million pounds.

We recommend notifying your insurance of any modifications to your vehicle, many 

insurance companies cater for modifications and you may be surprised how

inexpensive it is.

What happens i

Your vehicle will not have any faults as a direct result from a remap by us.

Vehicle components can and do fail without having a remap, on occasion adding the 

extra power with a tune may highlight an existing underlying fault.

If you have any issue within 7 days from your remap you may bring your vehicle to us

for a free diagnostic check

The remap can only be removed by a tuner or on occasion if the vehicle goes to the
main dealer and has an update to the ECU.
If you bring the vehicle to us we can reinstall the map at a discounted rate.

We recommend notifying your insurance of any modifications to your vehicle, 

insurance companies cater for modifications and you may be 

In short yes, although unlikely that anyone would delve into a vehicle to check, a remap
could be detected possibly by a main dealers software or checking the vehicle parameters for fueling and turbo timings etc and comparing to stock.

This could result in loss of vehicle warranty.

YES fuel savings are made on Diesel vehicles, we put a 2.0l tdi audi through tests, the same 40 mile route on a number of runs
travelling on A and B roads averaged 46.2mpg pre remap and returned 51.3mpg post
map!
That's an extra 5mpg, with an 18 gallon tank means you could get roughly 90 miles
further to a full tank on this vehicle.
This was on a Stage 1 Remap, even better results to be had with our Eco map.
With todays fuel prices we will happily take extra miles.
Economy Tuning generally pays for itself within 6 months.
Note that many factors can effect fuel results and no two vehicles or drivers are the
same, this is just an example from our research.

We do not have a dyno in house, all our remap files have been previously tweaked on

the dyno at our file providers tuning facilities.

The costly dyno work has already been done saving you time and money to get a safe

remap.

Bear in mind dyno runs cost in excess of £100 and you will probably have to sign a

waiver incase your vehicle has a failure or worst case leaves the dyno.
